In Sydney it is on Macquarie University a conference was held on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the Center for Croatian Studies, the leader of which is Ph.D. Jasna Novak Milić. Along with numerous participants from all over the world and from Croatia, the Faculty of Philosophy presented the order at the conference. prof. Ph.D. Dragan Damjanović and Associate Professor Ph.D. Ivana Hebrang Grgić.
Professor Damjanović gave a presentation on the architecture of Croatian cities at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries. Professor Hebrang Grgić, in addition to the presentation on digitization of publications, presented and exhibited the exhibition "They wrote in Glagolitic script..." which she created in collaboration with the National and University Library in Zagreb.
She held the presentation of the book "Their Faraway Home", which she wrote in co-authorship with prof. Ph.D. Anom Barbarić, which was created based on the research results of the institutional project. The book was published at the instigation of a New Zealand-Australian publisher. Copies of the book were donated to the Center's library so that they would be available to anyone interested in researching the history of Croatian publications in the diaspora.
