    Marostica is known for its chess with living pieces, and an artist with Dalmatian roots is responsible for this spectacle

    In the new episode of "Travel Advisor", Vlado Šestan brings us an interesting story from Marostica, a small Italian town located about eighty kilometers north of Venice in the province of Veneto.

    Mirko Vučetić, originally from Dalmatia, directed a spectacular game of chess with live people and horses in that place in the last century. Mirko was a versatile artist, appreciated in Italy, while little is known about him here in Croatia.
