On the occasion of Women's Day, the luxury car brand Porsche organized an event where it gathered inspiring women from Croatia, Slovenia and Bosnia and Herzegovina. For the fourth year in a row, the guests had the opportunity to have an unforgettable experience at the Grobnik race track as part of the driving program. Porsche Experience in a special edition Women on Track. A total of 175 participants took part in the five-day adrenaline gathering this year!
Through the SHIFT initiative, Porsche continues to support women and focus on promoting women's equality and strengthening mutual support
"We are extremely proud because for the fourth year in a row we have gathered women from different spheres of business, as well as life chapters. We bring together different generations and characters who push their own boundaries together, proving one thing - we are women and we really can do anything," said Silvija Berger, Porsche Brand Manager for Croatia.
The participants had the opportunity to show their skills, but also their courage, driving the most powerful Porsche cars. In doing so, they proved that they have their place in the automotive world, breaking established stereotypes and boundaries. Under the guidance of experienced international Porsche instructors, the participants drove 20 different models, including the 718 Cayman GT4 RS, 911 Carrera GTS Coupe, Macan GTS, Taycan Turbo, 911 Carrera Turbo S, Panamera 4 E-Hybrid, and saw for themselves the sporty performance, comfort driving and terrain adaptability that these cars offer. They had the opportunity to show their competitive spirit and courage during slalom driving, as well as other exercises that included off-road, launch control and driving two-seaters, limousines and SUVs on the race track. At the very end of the day, an extra dose of adrenaline was achieved with a taxi lap with the instructors and Nancy Terčić, the woman who holds the record on Grobnik in the women's category for road vehicles. Taxi laps are the fastest drives on the race track where they really felt what the expression "release all brakes" means.
This event is not only a celebration of women's strength, but also a reminder that their courage, skills and determination are key elements in making dreams come true and to never forget to celebrate their victories, just like they did these days.
