Last Saturday, Anita Benčec Nikolovski from the Alfa Publishing House contacted us from Rijeka. Anita is the editor of a bilingual picture book of stories and legends called "Wow – this is Croatia!" which has been very well received in America these days. Namely, Anita has just returned from a twelve-day trip to the United States of America, where together with the author Ružica Kandić, she presented this valuable booklet in as many as three cities - at the Embassy of the Republic of Croatia in Washington, at Harvard University in Boston, and at the Croatian Cultural Center in Chicago. In a conversation with the host Gordana Škugor, she revealed to us what makes this picture book special, and she introduced us to other interesting titles from the Alfa publishing house.
