After the Holy Mass in the Croatian Church of St. Cyril and Methodius and St. Rafael, in the Croatian Cultural Center of St. Nikola Tavelić in New York, our Damir Kolić met with prominent Split chef Zlatko Marinović.
The reason for their conversation was Marinović's new book "Croatian Cuisine", which explores the history and diversity of Croatian Mediterranean and continental gastronomy. The owner and chef of the Split restaurant "Noštromo" published the book in his own edition and in English, with the aim of introducing the American market to Croatian cuisine. The book will soon be available on Amazon, and after the promotion in the United States, editions in Croatian and Spanish will follow next year.
Who was the oldest Croatian chef, what did Emperor Diocletian say about cabbage 1.700 years ago and which famous Slavonian dish did the old Vučedolci know, listen to the new episode of the "Coffee with Damir" podcast.
