The award-winning novel "Celebration" by Damir Karakaš, translated by Ellen Elias-Bursać, was recently published in San Francisco by the renowned publisher Two Lines Press, and is already receiving a great reception in America, OceanMore Publishing reported, and HRT.
"Several great reviews of the novel in a row are accompanied by increased interest from foreign publishers, as well as the literary public", it is emphasized in the press release.

About the novel from Croatia the long text is in Los Angeles Review of Books also written by a famous American literary critic Cory Oldweiler, noting that Karakaš does not offer any simplistic solutions, but its appearance in English, thanks to Elias-Bursać, is undoubtedly a cause for celebration.
Based on the novel, a film was also directed Bruno Anković, which premiered this year in the main program of the film festival in Karlovy Vary, after which it was shown in Puli where he is crowned The Great Golden Arena.
The film Celebration was also invited to the European film festival in Washington.
