    Here is how Croats outside their homeland can vote in parliamentary elections

    Central state office for Croats outside the Republic of Croatia sent the following notice to Croats living outside the borders of Lijepa Naša regarding the upcoming elections for members of the Croatian Parliament in 2024:

    Dear Croatian women and Croatians outside the Republic of Croatia,
    in connection with the upcoming elections of representatives for the Croatian Parliament, we consider it important to note the following:

    All voters who wish to vote in diplomatic missions and consular offices should register as follows:

    • Prior registration – for voters residing in the Republic of Croatia 
    • Active registration - for voters who do not reside in the Republic of Croatia

    Elections for members of the Croatian Parliament for voters outside the Republic of Croatia will be held on April 16 and 17, 2024, at the headquarters of diplomatic and consular missions of the Republic of Croatia, from 7:00 a.m. to 19:00 p.m. In order to exercise their right to vote, all voters who wish to vote, regardless of their place of residence, should register at the headquarters of diplomatic and consular missions of the Republic of Croatia in person, by mail, fax or e-mail, no later than Wednesday, April 6, 2024. years.

    It is important to point out that voters who have been issued an identity card with a residence address outside the Republic of Croatia will be actively registered officially according to the address on the identity card, and if they want to vote in the territory of another diplomatic-consular representation or in the Republic of Croatia, they must submit a Request for Change places of active registration (eg if they have a residential address in Mostar or Munich and want to vote in Stuttgart, they should register).
