Croatians Online's poll showed the winner of the American elections. The citizens chose Republican Donald Trump as the new president of the United States of America.
According to the Associated Press, the results show that Trump won convincingly by winning 277 electoral votes.
"I will fight for you, your families, your future. I will not stop until we deliver a strong and prosperous America. This will be a golden age for America. We will make you proud and happy. I want you to look back one day and be proud that you voted for this group of people behind me." said Trump today in his victory speech.
Trump's victory is much more convincing than most analysts predicted before the election. Unlike other polls and analyses, which underestimated Trump and announced a close race and called the election the most uncertain in history, the readers of Croatians Online predicted a landslide victory for the Republican candidate. Let's remind you that the results of the poll, which was conducted in October via the Strawpoll platform on the Croatians Online portal, showed that Trump is supported by more than 70 percent of readers.
The inauguration of the new president will take place on January 20, 2025.
