Summer gaming camp in Novska - learning, playing and having fun in one place!

The summer gaming camp in the Entrepreneurship Incubator PISMO powered by A1 attracts children from all over Croatia every year. This innovative camp, which is being held for the third time in Novska, the center of the Croatian gaming industry, once again delighted children and parents. The first term is over and 28 participants have created their own video games. The second session is underway, while the third session, planned for August, is still accepting applications.

The camp is intended for students of higher grades of elementary schools (from 4th to 8th grade) and offers a seven-day program full of activities: from creating a video game to making new friends and fun experiences. Each day begins with morning exercise to keep the kids energized and ready for the day ahead, followed by four hours of video game creation education. Afternoon hours are reserved for learning about the technology of the PISMO incubator, strengthening communication skills, fishing, hanging out with animals, campfire and music at OPG Kovačević, and evening parties at the Youth Center and cinema. The Novsky STEM Lab provides children with opportunities to learn about microbits and robotics, while evenings include stargazing in the city park. A special experience is a full-day trip to the Lonjsko Polje Nature Park.

"We designed a program that not only teaches children how to create video games, but allows them to actively experience seven days filled with adventures, making new memories and learning about the latest technologies! Our participants develop the key skills of the future through robotics workshops, technological challenges, team-building games and interactive lectures, including those on internet safety. All this in one place - learning, play and fun", they say LETTERS.
