Tatiana Cameron Tajči is the "Croatian of the Month" for July 2024.

Croatians Online, a media platform that connects Croats around the world, awarded the award "Croat of the Month" for the month of July this year.

We have established this award to highlight individuals or groups who work dedicatedly and consistently to promote Croatia. These are people who achieved extraordinary success that month and who were present on our media, either as a guest in our program or we wrote about their achievements on our portal.

The certificate for the month of July went to the legendary Croatian singer with an American address. Tajči, whose full name is Tatiana Matejaš Cameron, is a Croat whose songs have been connecting generations of Croats around the world for decades. As an artist, she achieved success outside of Croatia, and in July of this year she represented Croatia at the grand celebration of the 75th anniversary of NATO in Washington.

This prestigious event brought together prominent musical artists from 32 NATO member countries, who joined forces with members of the American Pops Orchestra. The repertoire included compositions that echo the themes of hope and solidarity, and Tajči amazed the audience with her performance of the classic from the Wizard of Oz, "Somewhere over the Rainbow," accompanied by APO, which we wrote about HERE.

A few days after the concert, Tajči was an exclusive guest of our Saturday radio program. She joined us in the studio and shared with listeners from all over the world her impressions of her performance in the show "Croatians Saturday Live".
