    The ninth business gathering "Women and Dot" in Lika brings together successful entrepreneurs

    WOMEN AND TOČKA regional business meeting is the ninth annual meeting that brings together successful women entrepreneurs to exchange knowledge, experience and create business partnerships, with a special emphasis on the promotion of women's success in entrepreneurship through examples of good practice from Croatia and the region.

    The organizer of the meeting, the Croatian Chamber of Commerce - Otočac County Chamber, connects female entrepreneurs in a dialogue about challenges and opportunities in building sustainable businesses and promotes female entrepreneurship in the private and public sector, building a national and international network.

    WOMEN AND POINT 9.0 will take place December 13 in the Gack Public Open University in Otočac.

    Objective and target groups

    A business gathering of women entrepreneurs under the motto WOMEN AND DOTS "Sustainability, innovation and strength of family business" is organized with the aim of empowering women in entrepreneurship, providing them with a platform for discussion on key topics such as sustainability, innovation and running family businesses.

    This event highlights the importance of women in modern business, encourages sustainable practices and innovative strategies for long-term success, and contributes to the development of business models that integrate economic and social goals. It is intended for entrepreneurs, craftsmen, representatives of economic institutions and associations, and everyone who is, or could be, involved in economic processes and supports the development of women's entrepreneurship.

    What are the main topics of the panel?

    The program of the meeting was designed through two thematic panels that explore important aspects of business in today's context, family entrepreneurship and sustainable business through the application of ESG principles (Environmental, Social, Governance), providing participants with the opportunity to exchange experiences and acquire new knowledge for the application of modern business trends in to their companies.

    Panel "Balance of power - women's legacy in running a family business" focuses on the challenges and opportunities women face in inheriting and running family businesses, balancing business and family responsibilities, planning for succession, and empowering the next generation of leaders. The emphasis is on key aspects such as financial literacy, strategic planning for the transfer of ownership, preservation of tradition and innovation, which together contribute to long-term sustainability and business growth.

    Panel "ESG acceleration - female leaders for sustainable growth" focuses on the role of women in promoting sustainability through the application of ESG principles, whereby they as leaders help companies to direct their business strategies towards environmental responsibility and social impact. Through an overview of regulatory frameworks, the importance of transparent reporting, and financial and innovation benefits, the panel will explore how ESG standards support long-term business growth, with a particular focus on savings and sustainable practices in the supply chain.

    Two specific formats will contribute to the dynamism of the event. IN Pitch segment we will see how Ash Cycle highlights the potential of ash as a secondary resource for innovative building materials, promoting circular economy and ecological solutions in the industry.

    In the interactive VR zone the focus is on sustainable hospitality solutions and VR Hotelo will show how virtual reality in the hotel sector reduces the need for printed materials, thereby contributing to sustainability and improving the user experience.

    Businesswomen with extensive entrepreneurial experience who will selflessly share their business experiences, secrets of success and gold-worth of advice for all women who are in entrepreneurship or want to join it with a large audience.
