In the devastating forest fires that are raging in the Los Angeles area, most of the famous elite district of Pacific Palisades has been destroyed.
Located right on the Pacific Ocean, between the coastal cities of Santa Monica and Malibu, this area is known for its luxury residences, picturesque coastal scenery, and the fact that it is home to many movie, television and music stars.
Celebrities who lost their homes in the fire include Anthony Hopkins, Ben Affleck, John Goodman and Miles Teller.
