Miki Bratanic by profession he is a consultant for the application of information technologies in the hotel industry with a permanent residence address in Split. He worked for many years in one of the world's largest IT corporations, which enabled him to gain business experience and skills, as well as travel and meet people. In his private life, as a member of the Society of Croatian Writers, he writes and publishes books, and participates in various cultural events. He is also active in public life, publishing articles and columns.
His life's preoccupation is the project "Priča o konoba", a personal author's work in which he talks about our distinctive features, customs, traditions and heritage through various activities through the prism of the tavern. He shaped his story about the tavern into a multimedia presentation form with interesting photos, texts and music, which he presents to audiences in his homeland and abroad.
For the historical novel KORIJENI, he received valuable positive expert criticism, which declared it a book with a bold reach.
He received an award from the city of Stari Grad on the island of Hvar for his contribution to the preservation and promotion of cultural heritage.
He is the winner of the prestigious Marco Polo medal for achievements in the promotion of Croatia in tourism, which was awarded to him in the organization of the world international institution "Fédération Internationale des Journalistes et Ecrivains du Tourisme" for his long-term continuous contribution to the promotion and preservation of cultural heritage and traditional features of Croatian tourism. through the "Tavern Story" project.

Miki Bratanić was born on July 31.7.1970, XNUMX. in Split. He grew up in Vrbanja on the island of Hvar. After completing eight years of school on the island, he enrolled and graduated from the high school of electrical engineering in Split. At the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Shipbuilding (FESB) in Split, he received the title of mechanical engineer. His life path took him to the information technology sector, where he built a career and has remained faithful to it to this day. He lives and works in Split. He is married and has two children.
