This weekend in the coastal city of Zadar, the Croatian Fraternal Union (CFU) tamburitza groups from the US made a stop during their Croatia tour, performing for a local audience.
Local Croatian-American Albert Anthony Bozulic sent our news portal his photos and comments on the event:
“I just love the summer stage and what better place to have one than the historic Cedulin Palace in Zadar, and at the same time to show support for the Croatian-American community who has for over 100 years preserved Croatian traditions through music, food, gatherings, and so many other ways. Today in Zadar, all Croatian Americans are like one family,” he remarked.

His activities include being involved in local city politics in Zadar since 2023 serving on the city ethics committee, being a film extra in a WWII movie filmed in this area last year, and being a columnist for The Dubrovnik Times. In the US he was involved in diaspora organizations like the Croatian New Yorker Club and the Natl Federation of Croatian Americans(NFCA).
