On October 26th the National Federation of Croatian Americans Cultural Foundation will hold the banquet and induction ceremony at the Steel City, Pittsburg Pennsylvania. The banquet will be held at the Pittsburg City Center Marriott downtown across the street from the PPF Paints area.
There will be a cocktail hour at 5:00 pm and the banquet will take place at 6:00 PM
Tickets are purchased at the Croatian American Sports HOF and tickets are $75 per person. The deadline is Friday, October 18th.
Dinner choices will include short ribs, salmon, or a vegetarian dinner.
This ceremony will honor 11 inductees who are athletes and coaches who have made amazing contributions in the world of sports. Inductees, include Ralph Cindirch of University of Pittsburg- NFL football star and sports agent, and Kara Grgas-Wheeler Goucher who is a long-distance runner and seven-time NCAA All American NBC TV Announcer for the Paris Summer Olympics.
Additionally, on October 27th Sunday mass will be held at St. Nicholas Croatian Catholic Church at Millvale PA. Fr. Maurus Dolcic will conduct the mass at 11:00 am in the Croatian language.
