This October, Chicago will be buzzing with Croatian pride and global talent as the Association of Croatian American Professionals (ACAP) hosts its 9th Annual Conference at the Sheraton Grand Chicago Riverwalk, October 22–26, 2025. And we’re excited to share that Croatians Online will be there to cover the event, connect with our community, and bring you highlights from this incredible gathering.
The ACAP Conference has grown into a signature event for Croatian American professionals and the wider diaspora, offering the perfect mix of high-level networking, inspiring talks, and cultural celebration. With more than 400 leaders, innovators, and students expected to attend, it’s a unique chance to see how Croatians worldwide are shaping industries and driving success.
This year’s theme, “The Drive to Succeed: Our Croatian Edge,” celebrates the achievements of Croatians everywhere. The speaker lineup is impressive, featuring names like Violet Grgich (Grgich Hills Estate Winery), Joe Flamm (Top Chef winner), Tatiana “Tajči” Cameron (music artist and coach), Zlatko Mateša (President of the Croatian Olympic Committee), and Bill Rancic (entrepreneur and media personality), who will join a fireside chat at the Gala Dinner.
The agenda blends business with community spirit, golf and pickleball tournaments to kick things off, symposiums on health and academia, days packed with plenary sessions and breakouts, and of course, evening receptions along Chicago’s iconic Riverwalk. The Gala Dinner & Awards Ceremony on October 25 will be a highlight, celebrating excellence across the Croatian community.
What makes this event truly special is the way it goes beyond the boardroom. Chicago’s vibrant Croatian community will be on full display with cultural showcases, performances, and social gatherings, making the conference as much about connection and heritage as it is about professional growth.
Croatians Online will be there all weekend—capturing the energy, sharing stories, and bringing you closer to the people and ideas shaping our global Croatian network. Stay tuned as we post updates, behind-the-scenes moments, and reflections from this unforgettable event.
If you’d like to attend, registration is still open at www.croampro.com.
