Susan enjoys being a Saturday live host for Croatians Online. She was born in Brooklyn, NY, and grew up in an Istrian family where she has many wonderful memories of togetherness, culture, religion, and knowing that the dinner table is definitely what keeps a family together!
Susan has a Bachelor of Business Administration degree and started her career on Wall St. at Goldman Sachs & Co. for almost 20 years, lastly as Vice President for over 13 years.
Since becoming very involved with her Croatian heritage, she holds club Board positions and is a member of others. She was just elected as Treasurer for Histria Assoc. for Women, and was previously a Vice President.
For the Istria Sport Club, she also holds the Treasurer position for the past 4 years. Recently, she is very proud to have received her approval for Croatian citizenship.
Susan’s mission is to maintain the Istrian/Croatian culture, and to ensure it is brought down to many generations, all while enjoying each other’s company and spirit.
