Testing the Croatian Beauty Brand L’Adria: A Local Gem with Global Potential

Croatia may be known for its stunning coastline and rich cultural heritage, but it’s also home to a rising star in the world of skincare L’Adria, a homegrown beauty brand that blends clean ingredients with a thoughtful approach. I recently had the chance to test three of their standout products: the Eye Patches, the Clarifying Serum, and the ever-popular Lip Oil and I’m happy to report that the hype is well deserved.

From the moment you unbox a L’Adria product, it’s clear this isn’t just about pretty packaging (though it’s minimalist and elegant, which I love). Each formula reflects a genuine care for skin health and product integrity. Whether you’re a skincare aficionado or just looking to add a few reliable products to your daily routine, L’Adria offers that balance of efficacy and sensorial enjoyment that’s often hard to find.

If you’ve had a long travel day or just need to look more awake in a pinch, L’Adria’s Eye Patches are a dream. Cooling, hydrating, and gentle on the delicate under-eye area, they visibly reduce puffiness and give that “I slept eight hours” illusion even when you didn’t. I found them to be particularly helpful in the morning as I am preparing to head to work. Bonus: they stay put and don’t slide around like some patches do.  I wear them on my entire car ride to work!

This serum surprised me. It’s lightweight and absorbs quickly, yet it delivers noticeable clarity and smoothness. If your skin tends to be reactive, prone to breakouts, or just needs a gentle reset, the Clarifying Serum is a solid choice. It works well both day and night and layers beautifully under other products.

The Lip Oil is perhaps L’Adria’s most talked-about product, especially on socials, and for good reason. It’s glossy but not sticky, nourishing but not heavy. This product lives in my bag now. It gives your lips a healthy, plump look and wears beautifully on its own or over a lip tint. Plus, it smells subtly fresh, not overly fragranced, which I really appreciate.

If you’re in Croatia, you can easily find L’Adria in DM, Müller, and other beauty retailers across the country. The brand also sells through their official website and offers shipping across parts of Europe. Unfortunately, they don’t ship worldwide just yet, but if you’re traveling through Croatia, it’s worth stocking up while you can. Hopefully, international delivery will be in the cards soon!
